Hi Saul, The fuel bottle is in this case sold seperately and the weight of the stove is 524g.
Controlling the power with most liquid fuel stoves is very limited as they tend to be either on or off. They are not at all as adjustable as a gas stove. This is no exception but there is a little adjustment from the pump and with less pressure in the system.
What was the model of your MSR stove?
I bought a MSR WhisperLite last year. I used a lot the same model for 20 years ago and it was possible to control the flame. With the new one it's not possible. In the instructions stands "open two turns" the control but you have full power with 10° and the control has a soft touch when closing (probably a rubber o-ring being pressed) making it useless.
