The Mitre Peak GORE-TEX from Marmot is a superlative athletic waterproof jacket with which you can face unreliable weather in the mountains without a worry. This jacket is extremely lightweight, yet reliably waterproof thanks to the use of GORE-TEX Active fabric, which in turn is supported by the fully taped seams, which also prevent water from penetrating in these critical areas. Plus, its athletic fit goes hand in hand with the fixed, helmet-compatible hood that can be adjusted using a drawstring. As a result, you are always well protected even when climbing. In addition, the Mitre Peak GORE-TEX is naturally breathable, but should it still get too warm, the ventilation openings with underarm zips can provide you with some cooling fresh air. You can safely store your important items in the two pockets, which are also secured with waterproof zips.
