If you’re looking for a high-quality winter road cycling jacket that’s windproof, very water repellent and breathable, then you should take a look at the Mille GT Winter Jacket Evo from Assos! This is a low volume winter jacket made of a blend of multiple NEOS softshell textiles. It’s lined with a soft RX fleece for targeted protection, insulation and breathability.

The jacket was specially developed for riding all year round and is made of a great blend of materials that offer protection and comfort in winter. You can also wear different layers underneath or on top of it.

Great materials

The front of the jacket is made of NEOS Medium, a three-layer softshell material with a PU membrane. This flexible Assos material is very breathable, water repellent, insulating and windproof. Thanks to all these features, icy winds, splashing water and the rain will be kept at bay. As for the upper arms, they’re made of NEOS Light, which is slightly less insulating, but more breathable and lighter. These also have a fleece-lined RX material for the underarms and lower back to prevent you from getting too hot.

Construction

Some other great features include the raglan sleeves and the one-piece front. Both of these were sewn together with a seam that extends to the collar to offer you more mobility. The classic, regular fit is cut narrower, but leaves enough room for extra layers.
