The Assault 2 FutureLight 2-Person Summit Series tent from The North Face is designed for extreme use at high altitudes and in the most difficult weather conditions. Absolute reliability and a balanced combination of high stability and low weight guarantee uncompromising application possibilities on narrow heels in rock, snow and ice. The expedition tent is supported by two extremely robust tent poles made of DAC Featherlite NSL aluminium, which give the tent the necessary stability even in stormy winds. The matching tent pegs are also made of lightweight DAC aluminium. The compact dome tent for mountaineers offers space for two tired alpinists and weighs 2240 g.
The Assault 2 Futurelight uses the triple-layer DryWall 3.0 fabric and the three-layer FutureLight laminate as weatherproof outer material. They guarantee optimum protection against rain, moisture and humidity. At the same time, the functional tent fabric provides very good breathability. The robust tent floor made of 40D Nylon Ripstop is PU-coated and siliconized. This means it can withstand a water column of 3000 mm even without an additional tent base.
The Assault 2 FutureLight 2-Person tent is equipped with ventilation openings and a large front entrance. The apse is included in the delivery. Depending on requirements, mountaineers can combine it with the tent and thus create additional space, wind protection and storage space for equipment, or completely do without it, for example to use smaller areas for the tent and save weight. The North Face tent has handy tool holder slots that can be used for GearLofts or hanging cookers.
