With around 1200 lumens and a range of up to around 170 metres, it provides enough reserves for demanding passages without being unnecessarily heavy. The biggest practical advantage of the Swift RL is its REACTIVE LIGHTING technology. A sensor measures the ambient light and automatically adjusts the light intensity and light cone. This saves battery power, reduces manual intervention and ensures consistently appropriate lighting. This is particularly noticeable during long tours, as Petzl guarantees a minimum lighting time of around seven hours in medium mode. If you want to consciously control the light yourself, the STANDARD LIGHTING mode is available as an alternative. As a result, this lamp adapts to your pace and your requirements - not the other way round.

Stable fit and well thought-out details

In addition, the very narrow, two-part headband remains reliably fitted, even during fast movements, and is hardly noticeable to wear. You can fine-tune the fit and remove the padding if necessary to save weight or improve ventilation. Practical details such as a steady red or flashing light for emergencies, a reliable lock function and good battery performance in cold weather ensure a wide range of possible uses. The battery is charged via USB-C and the charge level can be read precisely.
