MQM stands for Moving Quickly in the Mountains. And that's exactly what the MQM 3 GTX from Merrell are best suited for. This is where the boundaries between trail running, fastpacking and climbing approaches blur. These shoes are agile enough for quick runs, yet sturdy enough for small climbs. Perfect for those who want to do as many mountain activities as possible with a single pair of shoes. Thanks to their special GORE-TEX membrane, they are also reliably waterproof.
The shoes are equipped with a medium-thick midsole that effectively absorbs impact forces and provides good stability and surefootedness. Plus, the specially cushioned heel area further reduces the risk of injury. The chunky outsole is made from specially developed Vibram TC5+ rubber, which features excellent traction and protects well against sharp rocks and wood thanks to its rock plate - ideal for running on unpaved paths and climbing over rocks.
