The CX238-X from Lake is perfect for frequent riders with wider feet. The CX238-X is the wider model of the CX238. It’s also designed for maximum comfort and provides a good fit, but is slightly wider to provide more space. This, along with the leather upper will let your feet expand without ever constricting you, even during high-frequency, high-pressure pedalling. The very stiff carbon sole enables a good power transfer and yet is as light as a feather. For extra durability, Lake added rubber reinforcements at the heels and toes to protect against scratches and stones. In addition, they’re equipped with mesh inserts for ventilation and an Outlast lining on the heel and tongue to ensure a good microclimate. Thanks to the two BOA dials, the shoes will fit you nicely. So, if you need cycling shoes that ensure comfort on day-long rides, then this model is the way to go.
