Warm, sustainable, looks good: the Spire Mimic Hood from Haglöfs! The synthetic fibre jacket is suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities - whether for leisure, winter hiking or even high altitude tours. The outer material of Pertex Quantum is particularly abrasion-resistant and therefore durable. It consists of recycled polyamide, which is also bluesign certified. And the synthetic fibre filling is also convincing in terms of sustainability and functionality. Finally, the Mimic Gold insulation is made of recycled polyester and is also bluesign certified. The synthetic fibre is similar to the properties of down, the only advantage: Compared to natural insulation, Mimic Gold provides warmth even when damp.
The synthetic fibre jacket also has a DWR treatment, which is fluorocarbon-free and provides wind and water repellent properties. So the jacket not only protects you from the cold, but also from light rain. The head is also kept safe thanks to the adjustable hood. While the sleeves are pre-shaped for great freedom of movement, the cuffs and hem are elastic for comfort. With the Spire Mimic Hood, nothing is left to be desired!
