Perfect for classic mountaineering ? the G1 Plus by Grivel. The G1 replaces the Grivel Monte Rosa as the standard ice axe for beginners and moderate users. The pick features a lightweight B-standard shank with a practical rubberized grip which means it can be used as a pulling pick. The Ergal 7075 Aluminum provides an excellent ratio of low weight and high stability - and is therefore also used in aircraft construction.
When used as a support pick, the ergonomic shape of the pick head ensures comfortable handing and grip. The pick is made of hot-forged chrome steel and comes in a classic neutral cut ? perfect for step cutting and anchors. For glacier hikes und light mountaineering, the G1 Plus is the tool of choice!
