A reliable tent is a must-have on multi-day treks above the treeline and ski tours. So, you’ve definitely got to check out Fjällräven’s Keb Endurance 2, because it offers both protection and comfort even when the weather forces you to take a break.
The inner tent offers enough space for two persons, and you can even comfortably sit in it. As for the spacious vestibule, it’s spacious enough for your backpacks, walking boots and your other essentials. Another practical feature includes the clotheslines located in the sleeping area and the vestibule, so you’ll both be able to hang your clothes to dry.
Now, let’s take a closer look at the fabrics: the flysheet is made of a tear-resistant fabric and has a silicone coating on both sides, so it’ll be able to withstand harsh weather conditions. As for the floor, it’s made of a thicker 70 denier fabric, which is not only abrasion-resistant, but its hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm also prevents moisture from seeping through under loads, such as those that occur when kneeling on the tent floor.
The tent is also equipped with durable DAC Pressfit poles and tear-resistant 3mm Dyneema guy lines to ensure a stable construction that can withstand even strong winds. Conveniently, the bottom loops are particularly large, which means you can stick your touring skis in them to keep them secure overnight.
