The Bergtagen GTX Pro Jacket from Fjällräven is ideal for all kinds of outdoor activities. With its 3-layer laminate, GORE-TEX membrane and DWR treatment, this hardshell jacket is permanently waterproof. As a result, it is suitable for ski tours where you are in contact with snow for a long time, as well as for trekking and alpine tours. It will keep you dry even after raining for hours on end. However, it can also effectively wick away any moisture caused by perspiration to the outside. If this is still not enough air flow for you, you can simply open the two underarm ventilation zips.
Compatible with helmets and climbing harnesses
In addition, the Bergtagen GTX Pro Jacket is sure to impress thanks to its mountain sports-specific features. Two spacious front pockets are set higher so that you can reach them easily, even if you are wearing a climbing harness. This means you can easily stow maps, hats and valuables in them, while keeping them within easy reach. Plus, the hood is compatible with ski and climbing helmets. You can adjust its width to your needs using the elasticated drawstrings. Meanwhile, to prevent cold or wetness from entering the sleeves, you can tighten them via the hook-and-loop fasteners.
