For all those who like to test their limits outdoors, Black Yak has developed the Taurus Jacket. It is designed for all activities in dry-cold to really ice-cold environments. The construction of the Taurus Jacket really does its best to store as much body heat as possible and let as little cold as possible get to the body. This works because of the absence of external seams. This prevents the cold from penetrating and makes the jacket much more robust against damage. The so-called ÝAK Bow-Wall system allows the body heat inside the jacket to circulate between the boxes, providing unprecedented heat regulation.
In addition to these special effects, this first-class expedition jacket naturally features the classic DWR impregnation and a high-quality, RDS-certified goose down filling. It is equipped with a non-slip Y-strap made of rubber, which secures it optimally and comfortably to the body. Two wind catchers and a drop tail for buttoning up also prevent the ingress of cold or the escape of heat. The Taurus Jacket from Black Yak is the perfect companion for polar expeditions.
