This is because of its 700 cuin fill made of 80% duck down and 20% duck feathers that will keep you toasty warm when it’s freezing cold outside. The Hydrodown technology makes the down water-repellent and ensures that it will keep its loft even when wet, letting it dry faster and making it less sensitive than untreated down. This makes the down even better at keeping you warm.
Lightweight, breathable and durable
Down not only has a better thermal performance but also is it lighter than synthetic insulation. For this reason, this jacket is super lightweight and compresses well. In addition, the outer layer is breathable and reflects your body warmth to keep you even warmer. The Pertex Quantum outer is super soft and comfortable, while at the same time being super durable to effectively protect the down fill.
