At the cuffs the jacket has lasered hook-and-loop fasteners and at the waistband there is a drawcord (can be used one-handed). All external zippers are strongly hydrophobic and fully operable even in icy weather and while wearing mittens.The fit of the Beta SV is designed to be compatible with an insulating jacket underneath (e.g. a synthetic jacket) and consequently is a comfortable, but not too relaxed, fit.
