This hardshell jacket features an environmentally-conscious GORE-TEX ePE membrane, which offers outstanding weather protection and is so breathable that it remains suitable for even the most strenuous outdoor activities.
Waterproof alpine jacket with a GORE-TEX membrane
With its modern GORE-TEX membrane, the waterproof Alpha Hybrid Jacket from Arc'teryx can withstand a hydrostatic head of at least 28,000 mm. Meanwhile, it also allows any water vapour from the inside to escape efficiently to the outside. Plus, a DWR treatment provides a beading effect on its surface for extra protection against dirt and moisture.
Thanks to a high collar and an adjustable hood, your head and neck are well protected when hiking and climbing. In addition, stretchy softshell inserts guarantee excellent freedom of movement. This weatherproof hybrid jacket also boasts a practical chest pocket, as well as hook-and-loop fasteners at the cuffs. Compared to a full hardshell jacket, the hybrid jacket offers less comprehensive moisture protection, but makes up for it with even better breathability and outstanding mobility.
