The design and features of the Alpha AR Jacket waterproof jacket from Arc'teryx are perfectly adapted to the needs of climbers, mountaineers and alpinists. Whether ice climbing, mixed routes, multiple rope lengths or big walls - the hard-wearing hardshell jacket inspires mountaineers with its low weight, very good breathability, reliable weather protection and sporty performance. With the Alpha AR Jacket, Arc'teryx combines the particularly breathable GORE-TEX Pro 2.0 version with robust reinforcements in the highly stressed areas. This makes the jacket ideal for strenuous climbing with direct rock contact. The waterproof and windproof climbing jacket features a high collar and weatherproof StormHood hood. It can be individually adjusted and fits perfectly over the climbing helmet. A Recco reflector is also integrated into the edge of the hood, which can simplify localisation by the mountain rescue service in an emergency. The two high front pockets with waterproof WaterTight zips are easy to reach even with the climbing harness on and the climbing backpack attached.
