Design and functionality were developed with the needs of Enduro and downhill riders in mind. The SPD cleat is positioned in the midfoot area, which ensures good stability. In addition, the rubber compound and the tread of the sole are optimised for excellent grip on your pedals as well as off-road walking, so that you can accelerate with confidence when gravity biking without ever losing control. The pedal channel of the cleat extends from the toe to the heel area so that you are stable on your bike even when unclipped. Plus, the carbon-reinforced midsole enables optimum power transfer.

Clever features and extra protection

As things can get a bit wild on tough descents, you will appreciate the secure fit offered by the BOA closure system with its twist lock. Additional protective features against gravel and dirt, such as the ankle collar made from elasticated mesh fabric, are also welcome additions. Plus, the TORBAL torsion plate offers slightly more flexibility on the outer sides to enable improved control on fast descents and sharp turns. In combination with the multi-layer EVA midsole, this also provides extra shock absorption and comfort.
