The Klondike group tent from Robens is so large that nine people can sleep in it comfortably. Plus, it's even possible for almost everybody to stand upright in it as well! The Klondike tent is made of a breathable combo of cotton and polyester, making it perfect for use in warmer climates. The HydroTex Polycotton outer fabric prevents a build-up of condensation and will shield you from the rain, making for a pleasant interior. The tent also has protective eaves so that rain can't get inside the tent through the doors or windows. Despite its size and height of 3m, the tent is easy for a few people to pitch. The crescent-shaped windows on the sides complete with a mosquito net and zip closure for tinting are important parts of the venting system, which along with the Internal Apex Vent Control ventilates the entire tent. The vents can be opened and closed from the inside of the tent at the highest point of the tepee. The aluminium poles with the long centre pole and the cleverly positioned guy lines and guy line points make the tent incredibly sturdy. The Robens? wind test has shown that it is capable of withstanding winds between 150 and 160 km/h, which are classified as 11-12 on the Beaufort scale. The Oxford polyester groundsheet is removable for cleaning and drying. The pre-installed stovepipe port makes it possible for you to use a wood-burning furnace with a pipe like the Denali Tent Stove from Robens. If you roll away the groundsheet, you'll have a safe place to put the furnace. If you don't need a furnace, the groundsheet-free area is great for dirty boots or wet clothing.
