Lightweight tunnel tent for trekking tours
The compact and light Chaser 3XE three-person tent from Robens is perfect for ultra-light trekking tours and bikepacking. It features a central arch that marks the highest point at 105 cm. It slopes down from the centre on both sides and the area for sleeping has an asymmetrical shape. The Robens tunnel tent creates a cosy space for sleeping while trekking and backpacking.
Siliconized trekking tent with a ripstop nylon floor
The Chaser 3XE three-person tent from Robens only weighs 1.86 kg and has a small pack size of 39 x 14 cm. It fits perfectly in or on your trekking backpack or in bike panniers. The tent with its HydroTex NRS-T tent fabric provides very good protection against the elements. The 20D ripstop nylon is coated with silicone on the outside and has a PU coating on the inside. In addition, all seams have a waterproof seal, so the tunnel tent can have a hydrostatic head of 2,000 mm.
As for the ripstop nylon floor with the PU coating, it has a hydrostatic head of 5,000 mm. In addition, the tent comes with anodised poles made of 7001 T6 aluminium with a thickness of 9.5 mm and 7.0 mm. They help the tent withstand wind gusts of up to 140 km/h. The tent is completed by a small vestibule and a large entrance on the long side.
