Rab’s Superlite Shelter 2 is a two-person emergency bivvy shelter that could save lives. When the weather turns and a quick descent isn’t possible, it provides vital protection, with enough room for two people to sit comfortably inside. Made from superlight, silicone-coated ripstop nylon, it’s both windproof and waterproof. The waterproof ground fabric keeps the interior dry even under the pressure of your body weight, while vents let fresh air in when the shelter is closed. The stripped-back design keeps weight to a minimum, and an integrated stuff sack means there’s no separate bag to remember. Reflective logos ensure good visibility in the dark, while the bright colour makes the shelter easy to spot on the mountain, even from a helicopter if the situation becomes more serious.
