Beacon

The Powder BT is easy to use, thoughtfully designed and solidly built. With the included Bluetooth technology and the Pieps App you can manage the beacon's settings, keep the software up to date and test the functionality. The App offers multiple training scenarios to improve your rescue skills.

Features:

• Auto Antenna Switch: always uses the antenna with the strongest signal.
• Ghost Signal Elimination: equipped with Pieps Advanced Signal Verification, the Powder BT only displays avalanche transceiver signals and no “ghost” signals from other sources.
• Auto Search-to-Send: in case of a secondary avalanche, your beacon automatically switches from search to send after a period of inactivity.
• Group Check Mode: the simple and quick way to confirm that your groups’ beacons are sending correctly.

Shovel

The Pieps Shovel T is the perfect shovel for ski tours in low and high mountain regions. The oval profile with T-handle avoids twisting while shovelling. The non-slip foot rest and sharpened edges enable an easier cutting of hard and compresses snow. The T-shovels are lightweight and extreme durability due to the special surface coating and pronounced centre ridges. The quick-lock system connects the handle and blade without pressing the buttons.

Avalanche probe

The newly-designed avalanche probe with a durable tube made of high-quality aluminium alloy guarantees optimal stability. With the Pieps Safety Marker that marks 100 cm and the first 40 cm in yellow, the strategy for shovelling can be perfectly adapted. The Speed-Cone system allows a quick extension and the quick-closing latch enables a reliable locking of the probe. The probe is compact fixable with the elastic closure buckle and can be stowed perfectly in the emergency compartment of the Pieps backpacks.
