Pajak - HD3 45-60 - Turryggsäck

An expedition pack for the most demanding adventures

The HD3 expedition backpack from Pajak is built for those who tackle vertical terrain and want to avoid unnecessary weight, risks and wasted time. The hip belt features a gear loop and a spacious pocket for small but essential items such as energy gels, a compass or a smartphone. The attachment system holds two ice axes within reach, so you can access them without taking off the pack. Daisy chains make it easy to attach carabiners and slings, while sturdy haul loops let you secure the pack in difficult terrain, haul it through narrow gaps in the rock or use it as an additional anchor point.

Safety first

Avalanche safety equipment should never be buried at the bottom of your pack. A removable avalanche safety pouch keeps your shovel and probe immediately accessible. Two access points to the main compartment – a roll-top and a rear opening – let you reach essential kit quickly without unpacking everything. For added safety, the HD3 also features a RECCO reflector.

Control, comfort and freedom of movement

Side compression straps with metal buckles let you adjust the pack’s volume, secure your load and stop it shifting. The pack keeps the weight close to your body for better control and unrestricted freedom of movement. You can remove the hip belt when you need greater mobility, such as on a climb or a fast ascent. On long hikes with a heavy load, however, it helps distribute the weight more evenly and reduces strain on your back and shoulders.
