Professional-level avalanche safety
The Focus Pro from Ortovox is an avalanche beacon that enables the fastest and most efficient avalanche rescues. With its unrivalled performance, innovative professional features and patented safety technology, it is designed to meet the most demanding requirements.
Ready for complex and adverse scenarios
Maximum search speed is ensured by the enormous range – with a search strip width of 80 metres – and the intuitive display layout, which covers up to four buried victims using the overview and scrolling functions. If there are several signals in the vicinity, the search strip width can be reduced to 20 m or even 3 m. Plus, any sources of interference and signal overlap are reduced by the Interference Protection feature. In particularly complex scenarios, the analogue audio output, voice navigator or hybrid mode can be activated.
Maximum efficiency in searching and transmitting
Patented smart antenna technology and a standby mode with post-avalanche switchover are activated if you find yourself buried. In standby mode, the device's own transmission signal is temporarily suppressed so as not to interfere with the search. If no movement is detected, the avalanche transceiver automatically switches to transmit mode after two minutes.
