Mammut - Barryvox Package - Lavinsökare – set

The Barryvox Package from Mammut is a reliable basic set that fits well into the equipment of any touring, freeriding or snowshoeing enthusiast. It consists of the handy avalanche transceiver Barryvox, the lightweight avalanche probe Probe 240 and the versatile avalanche shovel Alugator Ride.


The heart of the set is the Barryvox avalanche transceiver. It comes with numerous functions that make handling in case of a burial search easy and safe. SafeLock prevents accidental switching off or switching from send-to-search function. The illuminated display shows the direction and distance of the signal and the number of buried subjects. An acoustic search aid and the marking function for up to three buried subjects support the search. The additional communication channel W-Link increases search performance and enables fleet management. Group test, self-test, Auto Revert for switching to transmission mode in the event of a secondary avalanche and the reversal function to avoid 180-degree searches round off the features.


The Alugator Ride avalanche shovel is versatile thanks to its scoop function for shovelling and the cut function for cutting off snow. Numerous details such as the ergonomically shaped handle, stabilising ribs on the shovel blade and the fixing holes for building a snow anchor make the Alugator Ride a valuable companion in the snow.


The Probe 240 avalanche probe successfully rounds off the Barryvox package from Mammut with one-sided scaling, glove-compatible operation, sturdy aluminium and emergency plan in the probe casing.
