The 6.0 Glacier Cord Dry is a static rope from Mammut, which was developed for the special needs of skiers and mountain rescue: Crevasse recovery, abseiling and haul manoeuvres can be carried out with it excellently. The hyperstatic rope has an elongation of less than two percent, which increases the efficiency of rescue manoeuvres and completely eliminates a bungee effect when rappelling. Important to note: The static, which is perfect for rescue, glaciers and abseiling, is not at all suitable for climbing in the lead - a dynamic rope must be used here.

Its Dry equipment gives the rope maximum safety, even under the most adverse conditions. It neither absorbs water nor can it freeze. The extra grippy aramid design ensures high friction when abseiling with the only 6 millimetre thick rope, low abrasion and also helps to brake a crevasse fall. It meets the minimum tearing requirements of the Tibloc and Micro Traxion machines.

At only 25 grams per meter, the 6.0 Glacier Cord Dry is ultra-light. It has a minimalistic packing volume and comes with a stuff sack, which can also be used as a throwing bag for abseiling manoeuvres.
