Flexible 3-season tent for three people

Exped recommends the Outer Space III 3-person tent for camping trips between spring and autumn. It offers comfortable space for three people or plenty of room for two people or small families. With its large vestibule and various pitching options, the spacious tent is perfect for camping holidays and travelling with a tent. Good weather protection and hard-wearing materials are therefore guaranteed.

Weatherproof tent with convertible vestibule

The Outer Space III from Exped relies on proven materials that provide the best protection against the elements, while also being very light at the same time. These include 40D ripstop nylon for the outer tent and inner tent, as well as 15D no-see-um mosquito netting and a 68D polyester taffeta floor with a hydrostatic head of 5000 mm. The construction is supported by a DAC Pf 9 mm aluminium frame.

With 3.8 m² of vestibule area, the vestibule of the Outer Space III is even larger than the 3.2 m² sleeping area. Depending on your requirements, the vestibule can be used as a semi-open sun awning or as a closed shelter. According to Exped, the vestibule is even large enough for a spontaneous party while camping. In any case, there is enough space for sitting and for all kinds of equipment. A smaller vestibule for more equipment is situated on the opposite side. The simple system with hubs and clips makes the set of poles particularly easy to set up and guarantees that the tent is standing in no time when camping. This 3-season tent weighs just 3.3 kg in its entirety and can be packed down to a compact size of 56 x 23 cm.
