Aramid fibres for enhanced cut resistance
The Interstatic Protect 11.0mm from Edelrid is perfect for you if you value great safety, durability and handling. Not only does the static rope have low elongation values, but it’s also equipped with a special technology that enhances resistance to external influences. During its braiding process, aramid fibres are braided into the sheath, which almost doubles the cut resistance compared to conventional static ropes. As a result, the rope is the perfect companion for industrial climbers and for walls with lots of sharp edges.
In addition, a ColorTec process, which is a braided design that is clearly visible in the middle of the rope, allows you to clearly distinguish both halves and the middle of the rope. And, the Thermo-Shield treatment has been used to combine the core and sheath yarns to each other to ensure great sliding properties and to prevent the rope from shrinking.
