Dirt and water-repellent climbing rope for alpine climbing
The Apus Eco Dry 7.9 from Edelrid combines top safety and excellent handling characteristics with low weight. It’s the perfect rope for alpine adventures. It is dual certified as a half rope and twin rope.
PFC and PFAS-free Eco Dry treatment
The rope is equipped with a PFC and PFAS-free treatment, which makes the rope water and dirt-repellent. It is also bluesign-certified. Thanks to the finish, the rope dries quickly, hardly increases in weight when wet and does not freeze easily in cold temperatures. Thanks to its low water absorption of less than 2% according to the UIAA water repellent test, the rope hardly loses any performance in wet conditions and therefore offers top safety even in wet conditions.
Untangled and ready for immediate use thanks to 3D lapcoiling
Combined with the well thought-out packaging design, you can easily start climbing with the new rope. It’s very easy to pull out. The markings on the rope and the detailed description on the packaging make it even easier to pull out, so that the rope can be used immediately without it twisting and tangling.
