Natural materials
The Minera Sun from Earthbound is clearly designed for everyday use in between seasons. The upper material is made from 100% pure wool, which offers appreciable temperature regulation to ensure that your feet neither overheat nor become chilled. At the same time, the wool is dirt and water-repellent, which is helpful in light rain or on wet roads.
Fresh foot microclimate
Earthbound also uses breathable natural materials on the inside. The hemp lining is lightweight, robust and particularly breathable, which helps to keep you dry. Natural odour resistance is offered by hemp, wool and the cork footbed, covered with wool felt. This is a real advantage for anyone who wears their sneakers for long periods at a time – in the office or when out and about around town.
Non-slip sole
The natural latex outsole is both flexible and durable, so is well suited to flat, urban surfaces. The pronounced grooves improve grip on wet tarmac or light snow-covered paths. An additional layer of cork in the sole insulates against cold pavements as well as heated floors.
