I was about to send these back as when I first tried them at home they felt to tight around my toes. I let them be for a few weeks and then decided to keep them and take a walk in them thinking that if it doesn't work out I'll give them to my brother.
Already the first walk they felt great! And that's saying some as I almost always (except for barefoot shoes) have issues with blisters on my feet while wearing new shoes. I walked further in them than I should have the first time but still no blisters of any kind.
I've now used them for about a year for every day walking (mostly pavement) and some hikes and they have held up really well both in the upper and the sole it self. They are very comfortable, the Gore-tex works great and there are no issues with leakage. They work during most part of the year here in the south of Sweden apart from summer time when most shoes get too warm (for me).
Highly recommended and to me there have been no negatives!
