Mono-point crampons for uncompromising performance

Black Diamond’s Stinger crampons are purpose-built for the most demanding ice climbing, dry tooling and mixed climbing. The single front point allows exceptionally precise footwork and is much easier to place in rock pockets, cracks and small features than a traditional dual-point system.

On ice, the aggressive mono-point delivers excellent bite, with a secondary pair of front points providing effective support and extra purchase. The third and fourth pairs of points are heavily serrated and angled sharply backwards, allowing you to pull effectively with your feet – a crucial advantage on steep mixed and dry-tooling sections.

Made from high-quality stainless steel, these crampons are built to last. The toe bail and heel lever binding provides maximum stability, but requires fully crampon-compatible mountaineering boots.

Anti-balling plates reliably reduce dangerous snow build-up underfoot. The easily accessible centre bar adjustment also makes it straightforward to achieve a precise fit for your boot size.

Front points come under extreme stress during mixed climbing and dry tooling. The mono-point can therefore be replaced with a spare point (not included), ensuring uncompromising performance for the long term.
