With the avalanche airbag Jetforce Pro Pack 25 by Black Diamond, the two companies Pieps and Black Diamond are taking things together to the next level. The improved avalanche airbag is now even lighter, more comfortable and safer.
Equipped with a carrying unit for storing the blower, airbag and rechargeable battery, winter sports enthusiasts can look forward to greater security and flexibility. The blower fills the 200-litre airbag in less than three seconds with pure ambient air – even at temperatures of down to minus 30° Celsius. A clear advantage: After burial, the air escapes slowly from the airbag in just a few minutes. This eases pressure on the avalanche victim and allows fresh air to breathe.
When the rechargeable battery is fully charged, it is sufficient for up to four releases. 500 charging cycles also guarantee a long service life.
The backpack’s 25-liter capacity offers plenty of space for day tours. A compartment for an avalanche transceiver, a hip belt pocket, a helmet carrier, ice pick holder and ski carry ensure that your baggage is tidy. The release handle can be placed on either the right or left shoulder strap.
Mountaineers are not limited to a volume of just 25 litres. Thanks to a zip-on system, the zip-on unit can be removed and replaced with 35-litre or 10-litre zip-on units. These must be purchased separately.
