A real minimalist among trekking tents: the Tiger Wall UL2. This lightweight 2-man tent features a minimalist pole structure, making it perfect for long backpacking or cycling trips that require you do keep the weight and pack size of your kit to a minimum.
In addition to its clever minimalist design, the Tiger Wall UL2 saves weight by using high-quality, lightweight materials. The fly and floor are made of ultra-light ripstop nylon, which boasts a high tear strength and has been treated with silicone for added UV resistance and increased durability. For waterproof protection, they’ve also added a high-quality PU coating. The DAC Featherlite poles support the minimalist structure. Only when you guy out the tent properly will the tent get its full volume. For additional headroom and comfort, there’s a cross pole over the top of the tent as well. This little addition makes a world of difference when you’re changing clothes or playing a game of cards at night.
Additional features of the Tiger Wall UL2 include:
- two vestibules with storm flaps over the 2-way zip
- two entrances with a dual zip and door keeper on the door
- structured foot-end corners create more usable space between feet and tent wall
- oversized ceiling pocket
