Compactly designed performance
If you want to be able to travel light but safely, the EVO 5 avalanche beacon from Arva is a great choice! You have to be quick to get the ridge line on a fresh snow day on your ski tour. Quick means lightweight. And the EVO 5 fulfils this as a real featherweight without compromising on safety. This compact avalanche beacon offers you 50 metres of search strip width. Of course, its size didn’t prevent Arva from fitting it with 3 antennas in order to meet the current standards of technology.
Helpful assistance before and during the search
Before the tour, the Group Check function makes it easy to check the avalanche beacons of your powder crew. During a burial search, the EVO 5 makes life easier for you by warning you, for example, of a 180° error (wrong direction of travel). As your trusted guide, the device allows you to mark already rescued comrades with the marking function, so that you are automatically directed to the next buried victim. In order to provide the best possible protection in all cases, Arva has equipped the unit with an automatic return to transmit mode.
Despite all its features, you mustn’t forget that a fast rescue requires not just a good avalanche beacon, but also a trained rescuer.
