Due to the variety of possible uses as a brake, the Oka is perfect for rescue situations. It's a very impressive little device that works much like a figure eight but with more versatility on ropes. It's great for belaying and single-rope and double-rope rappels. Plus, you can use ropes of varying diameter, ranging from 7.7 to 12.7mm. In addition, the Kong Oka can be used with dynamic, semi-dynamic and static ropes.
